Amberwood have released their debut album titled "Event Horizon." This album fits the mold of a radio rock band quite well. They are on the lighter side of radio rock, but thats okay because it will appeal to more people this way. The band has a sound similar to a 3 Doors Down or a 12 Stones, so if you are into those bands, you could like these guys. They have done a pretty good job on the album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded quite well here and has a nice sound to it. With the instrumentation, it is pretty average, but it is solid. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, the lyrics are alright, they could use a little bit more to really hit home their story but overall decent. On the vocals side, the singer has a nice voice that you can hear clearly as well as molding with the style the band is going for nicely. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Amberwood have made a debut album that really starts the band off on a good foot. This welcome to album, gives them a big head up on other bands at the same point in their career, while helping them easier to get out there. These guys have done a really solid job on this album.
