Guts have released their debut album "Guts." This album is an off the floor album, so its more like a demo, but thats okay because its just so you get an idea of the band. They have a very Letlive, the Chariot feel to them. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the recording could be quite a bit better, bit its still alright for an off the floor recording here. The instrumentation is alright also, so thats nice to see. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, the vocals could use a little work and the lyrics are a bit out there, but they still seem to work on this. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song, or listen to the whole thing since it is only three songs long. Guts have done okay to start off their career here and make something. We are glad to have a taste of this new band. Hopefully we can get a bigger sampling next time and get tracks that aren't off the floor, but still good effort. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
