1. Good Heavens
2. These Colours Won't Fade
3. Tell Them (We'll Be Late With The Rent)
4. The Annexation Of Puerto Rico
Anu Beginning have released their second album titled "These Colours Won't Fade." This album continues on with the same style and sound that the band had established on their debut. The band has increased their library with this album and kept pushing what they do. Anu Beginning have done a decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album still doesn't quite have that quality you would expect from a cd you buy at the record store, but it is growing. The instrumentation is still around the average mark, but they sound a bit more solid here. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals sound pretty good, but the background vocals just sound a little too high and out of tune just a touch. With the lyrics, they could still use a tiny bit of work to get just that bit more meaningful into the stories. Anu Beginning have made an album that is on the up and its nice to see a band trying, but we do hope to seem more shows and a bigger jump in progression so that they have a stand out sound. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
