First Ghost have released their debut album titled "Real Eyes." this album is a slower kind of pop punk album with a little bit of an emo feel to it. This is quite a different sort of band as they kind of mix with the new pop punk bands but also the alternative rock scene as well. These guys have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty decently but the instrumentation is  pretty average. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could have been louder to hear them better over the music but the lyrics are pretty decent here. If you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Westdel Bourne" your attention as it is the best song on the album and shows off the feel of the album the best. All in all, this album is pretty average and it doesn't really have the punch or ability to make you want to listen to it more than once. The album is too mellow and boring to keep your attention sadly. Hopefully the band will pick up the tempo and get more ooph into the music to really grab people. For what it is, the album has been done well though. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
