Low Level Flight have released their debut album titled "Urgency." This album is basically a welcome to, get you to know what the band is like. The band is the brainchild of Ryan Malcolm who won the very first Canadian Idol. He has decided to start Low Level Flight and go in more of a rock direction as a sort of side project. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty decently but sadly the instrumentation is fairly average. Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals are pretty good and as everyone knows, Ryan can sing. With the lyrics, they are pretty decent as well,  just the combination of lyrics and music seems very average and very made for people who like radio music. If you are looking for a single, listen to the song "Change For Me" as this is the best song on the album and it gives you the best impression of how the album is as a whole. Low Level Flight is not breaking down any doors or reinventing the genre what so ever, but they do have a good sound and they are making music that a lot of people can listen to. We hope the band goes a little more off on a direction that isn't so  mainstream and that they play more shows to get out there. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
