Loveovernite! have released his debut album titled "The Better Part Of 4 Years" Loveovernite! is the brainchild of Kai Solomon who has decided now, that his music needs to be heard. The music heard here is sort of an electropop, acoustic thing, but look more towards to acoustic thing and artists like SayWeCanFly for a comparison to this music. It is alright. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded alright, it needs some work, but it isn't bad for a first albums recording, but the instrumentation is very average, which is usually the case with first albums from solo artists like this. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, the vocals are alright, but a little tough to listen to at times as it seems a little whiny and the lyrics are again pretty average as are the themes sung about on these songs, but thats what it is and what you get especially on first albums. LoveOverNite has done a good job with releasing his first album, but hopefully with some progression, this will turn into a more matured version of what this could be and use more lyrics in place of dodos and babas. give him credit for bring this out though. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
