Curses is the band from Abandon All Ship's Martin Broda, and they have just dropped their debut album on us all. Now this is something totally unlike his previous band, this is more light, airy, fun music to listen to, that gets you in a good mood as opposed to the prior. Being that this is their debut, it is an album for you to get to know the new band and really see how god this band is right off the start. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it has been done pretty solidly, but there are just a couple touches here and there that could be the icing and the instrumentation is pretty decent on this album as well, the band can play. Now onto the lyrics and vocals, if you know anything about the members previous band, you will know that the singer has a great voice and can sing very well, but these lyrics are also really good on this album, so be prepared for a good listening experience with this album. Curses have come out of the gate with a bang and we hope that they keep it this way. Now all that is left for the band to do is expose everyone possible, to this music. Good luck.
