The season is here to abide by the rules and reach a higher standard for yourself and that is just what Hamilton Ontario's Abide do on their debut album. Abide are a hardcore band that add deep screams and even pig squeals to their music without shame. These guys do have an alright sound though on this album which is a good start. When you look at the quality of the recording for this album, it could have been done a lot better and the vocals could be clearer as well but the background vocals are alright here. If you are looking for a single for this album, there is not one, so just go ahead and pick any song off this album and you will get the feel these guys are going for. With a little bit of tweaking and honing in the sound they really want, along with a better recording for their album, they could really get this band going to be able to have a chance at going somewhere. They have a great star as their background singer actually has a decent voice so now just plug away and we look forward to seeing what they do next. Listen to this album to see how you like it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
