The Goodbye Celebration have released their debut album titled "Phonecalls Towards Forgetting." This album gives the band a very pop punk feel and a foothold in the scene with this album. When you listen to this album you really get the feel that these guys know what they are doing and have written songs very well. The recording on this album does need some work, as it seems to be a little rough in the sound and the vocals could be a little better in the harmonies, but the instrumentation is done well, they can play. These lyrics on the album have been done very well also. The song to listen to on this album would be "Common Conversion" as this is the best song on the album and it shows off the rest of it. All in all, this is a very good start for a band and once they get a couple tweaks in there, this band will be a real heavy hitter. This also has the 4 extra songs that were on the Japanese release. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
