Dreamer/Deceiver have released their debut album titled "Generations." This album gives this band a very heavy kind of Sworn In sort of reel to them. They seem to have a very bottom end leg punch sound. When you put this album on you think yes this has been done before but that they have done an alright job with that heavier metalcore. now with the recording of this album, they have done a fairly decent job on the recording, could use a few touches here and there and the instrumentation is not really inventing the wheel or wowing you, but they can play as well. The way the singer screams is kind of annoying though, if he could clean the vocals up a bit then it would be great. The song that you need to listen to on this album would be "Moral" as this seems to be the best song here as far as written and lyrics plus it shows off what the rest of the album is like. Overall, not a bad job for a bands first album and with a bit of progression they could really turn it up. Listen to this album and check into the band more.
