City And Colour have released their debut album titled "The Death Of Me." The Death of Me is the first album from the side project of Alexisonfire's Dallas Green. This album takes on a way different path then that of his main band. City And Colour highlights Dallas's soft melodic voice and his ability to write meaningful, passionate lyrics that move you. The album has been recorded wonderfully and so are the vocals here, the instrumentation is not the most intricate but it still works well. as for the bad side to this, the only thing would be if you love Alexisonfire and are not a fan of acoustic music, but this is just beauty at its' best. The song to listen to here is "Casey's song" as this is a song that has been written well and it just has the right amount of upbeat music with great lyrics. All in all, Dallas has something here that could catch a fire, just hope it doesn't blow Alexisonfire's out. Keep up on what City And Colour does, as this just hits acoustic music perfectly.
