Them Thieves have released their debut album titled "The Cabin." This album has the feeling of a grimy, dirtier metal band. On first listen you can see that the album hasn't quite been recorded in the best quality, and it is most prominent in the guitars and with having the vocals seem like they are in the background. The band has done an alright job with the instrumentation as the band seems to be able to play, but the overall record just seems to be missing something to put it over the top. This is a decent job for a first album, but with a  bit of progression and just working on their sound a bit, should help this band immensely. The song to listen to would  be "Coughing Up Cobwebs" as this is the best song of the album and shows you what the rest of the album will be like. All in all, this band has done a good effort and has a decent foundation, now just wait on their next one to see how they progress. Give this a listen as it's still alright, and make your own decision on them.
