Homage - Insignificant

1. Groundwork
2. Albeit
3. Definitive
4. Release Relief
5. It's Becoming An Integral Part

Homage have released their debut album titled "Insignificant." This album shows off the band in a pretty hardcore way. When you think of a hardcore band, this is pretty much the standard you think of. These guys are similar to a Stick To Your Guns or a For The Fallen Dreams, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this one. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a pretty good standard. The instrumentation on this album is to a standard where you can tell the band can play, but they won't jump out at you with their ability. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are pretty good with the screams, they are not too growly to where you can't tell what they say, but also not to where they are clean vocals. These guys find a nice balance with the vocals. With the lyrics, the band goes for messages of life, being able to release things held on and how things become a big part of your life. These are things that many people end up facing and dealing with in life, so it is nice to hear a band talk about them. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Homage have made a debut, sort of welcome to album that really shows and gives off the hardcore feel for the band. We have been introduced to them and now know what to expect. We like this album. Now all that is left is for the band to get out there more. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
