40 Sons have released their new self titled album. This album goes along with their alternative rock style but still just can't get the stigma of them being a old dirty going nowhere rock band that seems to fill the The Rockpile every weekend. This band could do with putting a little more Three Days Grace, Billy Talent or Hail The Villain into their music to push it over that edge. The songs on this album, the playing and the recording is done decently so that's a good thing for this band for sure. Having paid attention to this band with previous albums, this is definitely their best to date and their song "I have The Gun" is the best of the album. As this band keeps evolving you should watch out for them, they could be another one of the alternative rock bands that fill the radio airwaves.
