Angry Agency have released their debut album titled "This Is What Democracy Looks Like". This album shows the band as a pretty political ska sounding band. These guys have a pretty similar sound to that of The Planet Smashers and Less Than Jake, so if you like those bands and fast punk, you could really like this album. They have done an alright job here.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to just an okay standard. The album sounds pretty rough. It sounds like it needs to be louder and more crisp as a whole. These songs are listenable, but they feel like more production is needed. With the instrumentation, you can hear some pretty good guitar at times, and you can tell the band can play. We don't know too much about brass instruments, but it sounds like they play just like every other ska band. For the most part, it is just good average playing. Not too bad.

Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are not bad. The singers doesn't sound like they are any sort of singing prodigy, but they sing. These guys are pretty clear for the style, and you can get what they are trying to say. They do sing pretty fast, which makes you need to listen close, but you can get it. With the lyrics, the band sings songs about politics and world issues which could turn off some potential listeners, but this genre is known for these topics at times. We feel the lyrics have an audience and will be found.

If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of the band and album.

Angry Agency have made a debut album full of your typical ska sounding songs. This gives the band something to start off with and start to generate fan, as well as material for shows. We are not really a fan of this type of music, but we can see how this could be something with a big more of a polished recording. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
