Underlier have released their debut album titled "We All Die Alone." This album has that grimy sort of metal hardcore that bands have recently started to do so they stand out. This has a good metal sound though. This band has a similar sound to that of an Upon A Burning Body or a White Chapel, so if you are into those bands, you could like this album. They have done not a half bad job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a fairly decent standard here. The instrumentation is nothing too crazy, but the band can play and they have a nice, heavy sound here on this album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are pretty decent, the guy can scream and scream well. He has a nice metal vocal style and we think this band has a vocalist that could really work for them. With the lyrics, the band goes for that brutal sort of angry song that just is there to be as brutal and metal as possible. These guys don't really go for anything profound in the lyrics, but they just work. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Underlier have made an album that sounds super brutal but then has hardcore parts to it, and it is just something a little different which is good. We think this band with a little tuning and getting better on stage could really bring something big. We think this album is good and can't wait to see what they come up with next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
