Arbitrary Intent have released their debut demo album upon the world. This album shows the band in a very post hardcore feel. This band has a little bit of a feel to that of a August Burns Red or a Like Moths To Flames, so  if you like those bands, you could like these guys. It is a pretty good effort here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded just alright, it could use a little work. The bands instrumentation on the album isn't bad though, so it brings it up a notch. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals could use a little work here to get them louder and more in your face instead of that sort of talk singing. With the lyrics, they have done a pretty good job on the lyrics, they have something to say and gives it just that little more it was looking for. If you are looking for a single to this album, the band has chosen "Hollow Hearts". We are not quite sold on it as the beginning of the song throws us off a bit, we like "Cutting Ties" better as a single. Arbitrary Intent have made a welcome to album that definitely shows you what they are about and gives you an idea of the music to come with the band. We would hope with a better recording they could really sound great. Now all that is left to do is play more shows and get out there. This band really has some potential with what is here though.
