Acid Priest have released their second album titled "Fast Love." Fast Love follows the same style and has the same feel as the bands previous effort. These guys have a very old rock, psychedelic feel to them that resonates with the 70's rock and Monster Truck fans. If you are into that, this album and band are for you. It is a decent album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded pretty well and gives you the sound they are looking for. The bands instrumentation could be a bit better here though. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals sound like they are behind something, or coming through a fog, which isn't the most appealing thing. As well, you can tell that it needs a little work on the singing there. With the lyrics, they are pretty down and gloomy which is what fans of this music like, but again, they could use a little work as well. If you are looking for a single to this album, listen to the song "Jumbotron", as this is the best song on the album and feel gives you the feel for what the rest of the album is like.. Acid Priest have made an album that really throws back to the 70's rock times and gives you a nostalgic feel. Hopefully with a little work on the singing, this band can really bring it up a notch. They do have potential and would be nice to see them max it out. We also hope the band gets out there and plays more shows to get a buzz out.
