Will Coke has released his debut album titled "All Unknown." This album is one that really shows Will Coke and the work that he does as a solo artist. It has an alternative singer-songwriter feel to it that has a keypad/drum machine added to the background. This album has like a Matt Mays, City & Colour feel to it, so if you like these guys, you could like him. He has done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly well, but the instrumentation could use some work as you can really tell that he is only playing the guitar, while the rest of the sounds are engineered. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done quite well, he can certainly sing, and sing right in the range for this style of soft rock. With the lyrics, they are pretty good, but could use a little work to not have to draw out a song for the lack of lyrics, but not bad. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, and since it is only four songs, just listen to the whole thing to get the album feel. Will Coke has made a debut album by himself that is not too bad. He has a nice voice that is very listenable, and he can be listened to by anyone. Hopefully with the next installment, he can give us more of an offering and get out there more to make a name for himself. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
