Of Reverie have released their debut album "The Dreamcatcher." This album is what you would call your typical Post-Hardcore release, but that doesn't mean they don't still put out a decent effort here. This band has a sound similar to someone like Issues, so if you like them, you could like this band. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it is done fairly solidly and each song sounds great, plus the band can play pretty well also, so that adds to the solidness for the album. Now onto the lyrics and vocals. The vocals are done fairly well here except the singer here has a voice that is a little hard to grasp due to the way he sings and the lyrics could use a little touch up with more meaning behind them. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just give any song a listen to see what the feel of the album is. We suggest "A Dose of Reality" as it has the vocalists from Issues in it. Of Reverie have something here that could really prove to work and make it here. Hopefully they just clean up the all over the place with the singer and keep plugging away, then we'll see what ends up.
