Brews Willis have released their debut full length album titled "Nerped By A Zircon." We have no idea what the title of this album means, but it sounds interesting. The band has a surf sort of sound combined with indie rock which makes it sound like a little more sloppy California beach band. When looking at the quality of the recording for this album, the band has done an okay job with the recording, but they are trying to make it sound a little rougher for the sound they are going with and the instrumentation sounds a little better then average so thats a plus. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals, specially the ones in the background are in need of a little work as the background sound too far in the back but the lyrics seem to be pretty good here. if you are looking for a single for this album, try the song "Ride The Island baby" as it shows off the duel style of the surf and indie together well as well as gives you an idea of how the album sounds. Brews Willis have something here that could work with the duel genres. as long as they progress and get those backgrounds cleaned up a bit, then this could really work.
