The Vermicious Knid are a band that have really managed to make something with this Emo scene and pull forward with it. The band has a very erratic feel to them, like a mix between Brand New and a punk band that goes a little off the wall. This is definitely something different. When you look at the recording quality of this album, it is pretty good considering its a debut album for the band. It should be noted that the band can play, since they are able to switch around the style in a song and back. Now looking at the vocals, they are alright, but could be a little better as it sounds a little out of tune and quiet at times. These lyrics seem to go with the music being all over the place in the way they are sung as well. If you are looking for a single for this album, there is not one so just pick a song and listen to it so you get the feel of the album. The Vermicious Knid are doing something that is very in at this time and place, hopefully they can continue to grow with this music and make it. Give this album a listen so you can decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits. (R.I.P.)
