Calling Ocala have released their debut album titled "Dedication Takes A Lifetime." After the band lost their singer they decided on a name change and went on the search for a new singer. This came in the form of a female singer. With the pieces put together they went a created this album. Now the one thing that stands out here on this album is how well Colleen Carrigan can sing. She has a beautiful voice and it rounds off this pop punk so well that you can't help but listen to it over and over. The album here does have a pretty decent recording on it which is quite a pleasing thing to see, as most first albums are never the best. One of the things here though is that the playing on the album is just average, but it doesn't take away from the sound. If you want a song to listen to first, listen to the song "360 Degrees Of Summer" as this is a personal favourite due to the chorus of the song being so catchy. Hopefully with an album like this, thats so catchy and just makes you want to press repeat the band can make something out of it. You need to hear this album and get on this band, they have something here and you'll want to be on the ride. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
