From Greater Heights album "For The Better" just has a certain quality to it that makes you get up and take notice of the band. This album is a very typical hardcore and metalcore album, but that doesn't stop it from being good. Think of a Dead & Divine esk sound for this band. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the recording could have been a bit better, but the instrumentation of the album is pretty decent with the solos and stuff on it. Now looking at the vocals and lyrics, the vocals, especially on the gang vocals could use some work, as they sound too far away and the lyrics are alright, but could also use just a little bit more work on them as well. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick any song on the album and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. From Greater Heights have something that and really be worked with, and hopefully with a better recording and just getting out there more, the band can make something of this.
