This is the split album from the bands Altona and Homage. This album shows two bands at the beginning of their career, trying to help each other and combine resources. Altona's three songs seem to be more raw, and Homages's seem to be more polished and in line with the standard hardcore bands of today. Altona is an alright band, you can tell they are just starting out and seem to have something there to work with, they can play, but the lyrics and quality could be a little better. Homage seem to have the better of the 5 songs, which are the last two, and their recordings are better. Homage seem to be getting there with the music, and Altona has a bit of a ways to go. Give them both credit on this split album though, it's cool. Give it a listen and decide if you like these two bands.
