Nothing Left For Tomorrow - The Deafening Sound Of Metal

1. Pouring Vengeance
2. Dead In My Eyes
3. Mastering Hate
4. Your Price To Pay

Nothing Left For Tomorrow have released their debut album titled "The Deafening Sound Of Metal." This album shows the band in a very heavy, sort of more euro metal style. They have female vocals and really like to bring in the deep growls and heavy guitars to their sound. They have a similar sound to that of Arch Enemy or The Agonist, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to a not to bad standard here. It could use a little more work, but at the same time, it's pretty good for a debut album. The instrumentation on the album is pretty solid here, the band can certainly play and they show it off in all four of the songs. Solid in that aspect of this album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are quite impressive actually. We can not believe that a chick can keep up the guttural vocals like that, now we know they can do it, it just isn't seen too often. She keeps the music heavy and her vocals go along with the music very well. impressed for sure here. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs that are just evil and have that metal feel to them, with songs about vengeance, death and hate. These are things bands in the metal genre usually hit on, so this band is going right for the center metal fan with them. not bad overall. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of this album. Nothing Left For Tomorrow have made an album that really shows off how the band wants to be perceived. They have that heavy , deep vocal style and they really hit you right from the get go. We hope the band can keep this up and we see an expanded version of this on the next album. We also hope to the the band out more and getting more people into them. really decent all in all. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Terrorhorse - This Ain't No Goddamn Mirage

1. Rapid Eye Movement
2. The Gate
3. Robo Sapien Sapiens
4. Packet Flier
5. Heffer Exploder

Terrorhorse have released their debut album titled "This Ain't No Goddamn Mirage." This album really shows off their heaviness of the band, and establishes that this is what they are about. They have a similar sound to that of bands like older Arch Enemy or Job For A Cowboy, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. We think they have done a pretty solid job here. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright standard. Now we feel this is mainly that the music hasn't quite stood up to the new music tech out there, but that's okay because it is still good. The instrumentation on the album is not bad either, you can tell that these guys can play and it's a pretty nice and brutal sounding album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals here are not bad for the style of metal these guys are going for, but it does make the lyrics a little hard to grasp. He has his screams down quite well and the voice really works well with this band. With the lyrics, the band goes for music that is a brutal as possible, not really going for any meaningful message, but just something metalheads can say how heavy and nasty the album is as a whole. Overall we think they did a good job here. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Terrorhorse has made a debut album that really shows how much they are going for that super metal sound. We think they have hit it and it will be nice to see what they can do on a larger scale with a full album. Hopefully this band can get out there more as well. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Conjure - Burn Her, Kill Her

1. Burn Her, Kill Her
2. Homicide Billy

Conjure have released their first 2 song set they titled "Burn Her, Kill Her" after the song of the same title. They have a heavy but older sounding style of metal. These guys have a similar sound to that of an 80's or early 90's metal band. If you like those type of bands, you could like these two songs. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it's not bad for what it is, but it certainly could use some more work. The instrumentation on the songs is nothing really to rave about either, they can play, but nothing the is going to turn your head. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on these songs are like a grungy 80's metal singer or on the slightest side of trying to sound like Danny Filth. He can sing and you can hear most of the words so thats nice. With the lyrics, the band goes for the most metal lyrics they can do. Singing about burning people and Homicide is pretty metal. Nothing really that is meaningful, but it will get a reaction out of listeners. If you are looking fot a single for this album, there isn't one, so just listen to the two songs if you are interested in this band, then you will know their sound. Conjure has made two metal songs that with a little more work on the vocal production, could be alright songs. We hope to see more from this band in the future. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Decatur - Badder Than Brooklyn

1. Internal War
2. Into The Night
3. Vegas Girl
4. Worst Enemy
5. Badder Than Brooklyn
6. Bottled Inside
7. Tear You
8. Abaddon
9. Shatterproof
10. Internal War Pt. II

Decatur have released their debut album titled "Badder Than Brooklyn." This album has a very metal feel to it. If you are into the older metal bands like Five Finger Death Punch, Metallica, or even a Fear Factory, so if you like those artists, you could like this album. The album was recorded in New York by Gorjira's Joe Duplantier, so you may want to check it out if you like Gorjira as well. Not a bad album honestly. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded quite well and has a very stereotypical metal sound to it. This bands instrumentation is quite good on this album, the band has certainly decided to do fast guitars with solos on it which raise eyebrows. These guys can certainly play. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are an essential part of every album, and on Decatur's new album, they a great mix of Fear Factory like singing and metal screams that actually are done pretty clear so you can get all the lyrics. Their singer can certainly sing and he gives the album a solid notch to it. With the lyrics, the band has decided to give you messages that sometimes are just what you would expect of a metal band, girls and having fun living the rock star life. They also have songs about not seeing eye to eye on things and being tough. Now we really think this band could use some work on the lyrics, getting more flowing lyrics and using different vocabulary to just build the song up more. Not a bad effort for a debut though. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Decatur have made a debut album that really does rock but shows that there are some things to work on. Hopefully stretching words out to make the songs longer is a trick that they don't use on the next album. All in all, not bad for a debut. We hope to see what they can do with a little more time under their belt. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.

Misguided Aggression - Flood The Common Ground

1. Intro
2. Winter Soldier
3. Chasing Sanity
4. The Visionary
5. The First Stone
6. Humility
7. Autonomy
8. Hidden Empire
9. Flood The Common Ground

Misguided Aggression have released their second album titled "Flood The Common Ground." This album is quite the heavy older people style metal. They are pretty good for what they are doing though. This band has a similar sound to that of Threat Signal or even a Goatwhore, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. The band hasn't done that bad of a job on this album. When looking at the recording quality for this album, the album has been recorded fairly well, but could use a little bit of work. The instrumentation on this album is very typical for this style of metal, they can play alright, but nothing really to the progressive standard. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocalist of this band is pretty good, but you can notice he is stressing a bit.He doesn't quite have the power in the screams and they have an old feel to them. He can scream though. With the lyrics, this band has a bit of an angry way of going about them. The band goes more for a how metal they can make the lyrics as opposed to the meaningful message behind them. Not bad but could use a little work to be more meaningful. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the idea of this album. Misguided Aggression have made an album that just has the feel of not fitting into the popular scene and being more for the old metal fans in the run down bar in smaller towns. Hopefully with some tweaking they can get a fresher metal sound. Not bad though. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

The Karma Cure - Saturn

1. Ecliptic
2. The March Of Swadisthana
3. Sky Burials
4. The Chariot
5. Titan

http://www.mediafire.com/?4cbwb4ubkhx49pf

The karma Cure have released their debut album titled "Saturn." This album shows the band in a very heavy light. The band has a deathcore feel them and they really do that heavy. They are similar to a Emmure or a Chelsea Grin, so if you like those bands, you could like these guys. This album hasn't been done too badly here. When looking at the recording quality of the album, the album has been done alright, could be better, could of been worse, but that's okay for a first album. These guys do know how to  play though and it is shown on this album. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on this album are in line with what you would expect from a newer deathcore/metal band, but they have potential there, while the lyrics could use a little work to get a more meaningful and have lyrics that connect with the listener a little bit more. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. The Karma Cure have made an album that shows what they are all about. It has a few issues with is such as not being loud and the sound isn't full enough, but it is a decent first effort for a band like this while showing off their skills. We do hope the band can get out there more and get more shows going to give the band a buzz. We like it overall. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Misguided Aggression - Hatchala

1.Hatchala
2. Our Kingdom Come
3. Pigs In The Market
4. Faces Of Abomination
5. The Palamnaeusus Fulvipes
6. Mustard Gas And Roses
7. Flesh To Gold
8. Metal Horn Bessy

Misguided Aggression's debut full length album is one that really brings metal feel to the forefront. This album gives you the sort of Lamb Of God, Machine Head feel, so if you like them, then you should like this album. They have done a pretty good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently but could still use just a little bit more work, and the instrumentation is alright as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the  vocals are okay, they could use some more work but the lyrics are pretty good and meaningful here. If you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Our Kingdom Come" your attention as this is the best song on the album and give you an idea of the feel of the album. Misguided Aggression have done a pretty good job with this very metal album. Hopefully this band just keeps plugging away and keep progressing in their music. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

A Sin For A Prayer - Conception

1. The End
2. Eulogy Unread
3. Suffering Silence
4. Conception
5. Reborn

A Sin For A Prayer have released their debut album titled "Conception." They are a heavy band with with a nasty feel to their music, which is great for metal. The band has a style that most metal fans will enjoy and has those nice raspy metal vocals that the new wave of american metal has. When you look at the recording of this album, they could of done a bit of a better job, its missing a little clarity here and there, but other then that its pretty good. Their music sounds pretty decent, the playing and everything and the vocals are alright, the background vocals need some work though and the lyrics a lacking just a tiny bit. If you are looking for a song to listen to, the band doesn't really have a single here, so just pick any song and you'll get the feel for the album. These guys have something here that could work, it has a pretty solid starting to get into that metal scene. Just keep hammering out songs and tweak them just a little, hopefully there will be something for theses guys. Listen to this album. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Thine Eyes Bleed - The Embers Rise

1. Ashes We Call Skin
2. Creeper
3. Eyes To The Sky
4. A Dying Man
5. Comorbid
6. Birds Of Prey
7. The Last Dead
8. End With The Night

Thine Eyes Bleed's third album "The Embers Rise" is an album that came out pretty quietly for the band. For a once touring with Slayer and Lamb Of God band, the lack of knowledge about this album is almost disheartening. This being said, the thrash metallers could only manage to put out a mediocre album. When listening to the album, you hear the same out style and sound from the band, but it feels like, Is that it?. The band is decently talented though, so the songs have good playing on them just nothing exciting. The song "Eyes To The Sky" is the one to listen to if you want to get a feel for this album. Give this album a listen, you could like it better.

Varga - Enter The Metal

1. Beginning Of The End
2. Gamera
3. Mad Scientist
4. Plane Crash
5. No More Clean Air
6. Shark Attack

Varga have returned after a 17 year hiatus to bring you "Enter the Metal". Like a time capsule of the 80's, the band have returned to form, just like they never left. The crushing guitar, the fast riffs, and the solos, are what make this album what it is. These songs are also quite long in  length, so if you are looking at it as only 6 songs, it's almost 60 mins of in your face metal. If you are looking for some new metal, but are stuck back in the sound of the 80's, here is your band. Varga, listen to these guys.

6. Mota Diablo
7. Truth In Evil
8. The Mouth Of Hell
9. In Mortal Sin
10. Revert To Stone

Thine Eyes Bleed have made a second full lenth that doesn't really show off anything that they haven't already been doing. The songs on this album could very well go on their previous release without notice. This is not saying that the album isn't good, the band is just not evolving. If you like the sound of their previous work, then you will love this one. Give it a chance and a listen to make your own opinion though.
