Sleep When You're Dead have released their debut full length album titled "Alive, Awake, Forever." This album was suppose to be the bands label debut, but they sadly broke up just before this album was slated to be released. They did however decide to release it just prior to their farewell show. This album seems to follow the style the band was doing on their previous album, but this one has a slight bit more of that punk hardcore feel to it. These guys have done a really solid job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently. The band is on top with their instrumentation as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are nice screamed vocals that you can understand and the lyrics fit quite well with the style of the band. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, as this was just a "here is our album" release, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. It is sad to say that this is the last album from the Sleep When You're Dead guys, but what they did is bring out a solid album that they can go out on top with. You really should give this one a listen, at least to be able to make your own informed decision about the album. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)

Sleep When You're Dead's second EP is one that will make you take notice. Their straight metal, hardcore that is so popular these days is one they do well on this EP. They have kind of a dirty grungy style that  you can hear in this EP, and it brings it all together. This one is going to propel them to bigger things, so watch out and get on board.

This is their first EP. It started off what is now a band people are taking notice of. This EP is a raw more straight hardcore release from them. You can tell that this is the base of what the band has become today. There is not as much of the dirty southern feel to the music, but it is still a really good first EP.
