Junior Battles have released their second full length label release titled "Rally." This album is an expansion of the sound you already know and love from the bands. The band has given everyone just what they are looking for on this album and it has been done fairly decently. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded  fairly well, with the bands sound put into consideration when making it. The bands instrumentation on the album is pretty good as well. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals have stayed steady from the  last album to this one and the lyrics seem to be on par as well. These guys have seemed to hit the mark for the band with this album. If you are looking for a single for this album, listen to the song "Bunk" as this one is the best song on the album and shows off the highlights of the album the best. Junior Battles are continuing to do what they are good at and put in a strong effort. We see that with this album and are quite pleased to listen to this album. Listen to this album yourself to decide weather you like it or not.

Junior Battles have released their full length label debut and what an offering it is. This album does follow the path and style of their previous two albums, but it feels like this one is just more tighter and put together then the previous albums. As mentioned, this album does have the sound you have come to know Junior Battles for and each song gives that punk indie feel. This album needs the subtlest of touches to make the record just feel right but other then that, the band can play decently and the lyrics are actually pretty good. If you want a song to listen to, the suggestion would be "Living In The Future Of Feelings" as this song just has that fast paced punk indie feel and it just grooves. This record is really a decent offering from this band and you should really give it a chance as even AP Magazine gave them a spot in their top 100 bands you need to know, around the time of this album. So show AP and us that we know what we are talking about and give it a shot.

Junior Battles - Junior Battles

1. Basements
2. Major Label Bidding War
3. Update Your Resume
4. Roads? Where We're Going, We Don't Need Roads

Junior Battle's debut album is one that only came out on 7" and digital, so you might see it named as Junior Battles 7" as well. This album has a real indie feel to the punk rock that they do, it's not bad, and it gives it a feel that fans of both genres could get into. Listen to this album because it has a real different vibe to it and if you like different this is for you, plus the album was written decently so the songs are good.
