1. A Place To Rest My Head
2. Right Through
3. Leaving
4. Temple
5. Breaking Ground

Fighting Season have released their second album titled "Weathered." This album follows the sound that the band created on their debut while expanding their library of songs. If you haven't heard the band yet, they are a perfect representation of what bands are doing with the new style of pop punk these days. When you look at the recording of this album it has a decent sound and the instrumentation is alright as well but nothing over the top. The singer can sing well and the lyrics are pretty good here also. if you are looking for a song to listen to, give the song A Place To Rest My Head" a listen as this one is a fast hard hitting pop punk song with a pretty good, singable chorus to it. Fighting Season are definitely on the right track with their music. Hopefully they just keep plugging along and something happens for these guys. Please take a listen to this album as it is fairly decent and need your ears. Make sure you check out what the band is up to as well.

Fighting Season - Here's To Starting Over

http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152860519997078.1073741912.6609862077&type=3

1. Put Me In, Coach
2. The Only Place I Know
3. Heading West
4. Going The Distance
5. Stand Tall

Fighting Season, the new band from Brampton, Ontario have decided to start off with giving us "Here's To Starting Over". When listening to their debut EP, it feels more like real pop - punk, not the over saturated pop - punk that brings female fans in drawls, the kind that brings dudes crowd surfing in a sweat bar kind. Their song "Stand Tall" is a stand out on this album and gives you the true feeling of what the band is trying to do. Here is a favour for you though, just skip the intro song "Put Me In, Coach" it is just a mess of annoying noise, the rest is decent though. The songs on this album are very teenage angst driven, but they are what all young band in this genre sing about, so it's all good. This band has potential to make it further in their career if they clean up a few things and continue to progress. You should definately give this band a listen, they have done a good job on this EP and you will notice.
