Willows have released their debut album titled "An Empty Room Fulled With People." This album is one that really shows off that indie and shoegaze sort of style. They have a bit  of a unique style that was nice to hear in a period where every indie band sound the same. They have a similar sound to not really anyone, maybe Crystal Castles, but if you like indie music, you could really like this album. They have done a pretty decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded fairly decently. The instrumentation on the album is nothing really mind blowing as it sounds more like synth and samples, thats okay though. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals on the album do work quite well to mix the music and vocals together. Their singer has a nice voice and it is quite clear. With the lyrics, they have a theme of being lonely and having someone leave you. These are typical topics that bands delve into. Not the most original lyrics, but they seem to be what everyone wants to hear about. If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Willows have  made a debut album that is quite the indie album and has a very different sound that is not what the typical band is going for. Not bad overall. Now they just need to get out there. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
