Bleeker Ridge have released their debut album titled "Small Town Dead". This album is one that really shows a regular radio rock band here that is trying to break out. They have a similar sound to that of Three Days Grace or Finger Eleven, so if you like either of those bands, you will probably like this album. They have done a pretty decent job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, it has been recorded very well by a professional and it shows. It brings out the music this way. the instrumentation is not bad, its your standard rock that you would expect. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done pretty well, the singer can certainly sing and he does it in a very rock way that is fitting to the music. With the lyrics, they are very smart and have nice meaning to them. With harsh songs and subject matter that really hits with the rock crowd, the lyrics are a perfect fit to the music. If you are looking for a single to this album, give the song "Small Town Dead" your attention as it is the best song on the album and really gives you the feel of it. Bleeker Ridge have made a debut album that really fits well in the rock scene. The album has a nice sound and it leaves you wanting more. We can't wait to see what is next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
