Teenage Kicks have released their debut EP titled "Rational Anthems." This album shows a very raw and rough rock band that is on the indie side of things. The band has a very old school feel to them, possibly in the likes of a 60's type band and their style is whats in right now. They have done a good job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album seems to have a pretty decent sound to it. The instrumentation is alright as well, it has some solos with a bit better guitar work which is always nice. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the recording of the vocals could of been a little bit better, they seem to not fit sound wise with the music, but the lyrics are pretty good here which we like. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album overall. Teenage Kicks have done a pretty decent job here with everything while making a sort of throwback album. These guys really have something that could work, so look out for them. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
