We have added Black Cat Attack's debut album "Lonely Horror Stories." This album is a very punk album with the fast paced punch of the music and oddly enough, grungy female vocals. This album would appeal to a fan of The Matadors or The Creepshow. They have done an alright job on this album. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album could have been done just a little bit better, but it seems the band was going for that grungy, a little under produced, unpolished sound here. The instrumentation is average on this album also. Now onto the vocals and  lyrics, the vocals again are made grungy, so they feel like they could use a little work, but are not bad overall, the lyrics could also use a little work to get them to just hit that much harder with the story they are telling. If you are looking for a single for this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album. Black Cat Attack have done a pretty good job on their debut, welcome to album, and have nicely given us something that isn't always there. The female vocals and the grungy real punk, are something different. We hope to see this band get out more and branch out even further in their progression. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
