Outsider is a new band from Toronto, Ontario. Their sound is sort of on that edge of being post hardcore but also that pop punky rock feel to them. The band has put out their debut three song album that is sort of like a welcome to Outsider kind of thing and we are glad to hear from them. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded really decently and the instrumentation is probably the thing that is the most lacking, not to say it isn't good as well though. Now onto the lyrics and the vocals, the lyrics have been done very well here as the stories in each song are meaningful and you can get the full idea of what they are trying to say. These vocals are also very good and they are nice to hear mixed with this music. If you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Street Lights" your attention as this is the first song and it hits you with that nice sound to give you the feel of the entire album. When you find out that Outsider is the former Teeter singer, you give them more anticipation and a reason to want to give it a listen. These guys have done a really good job on these three songs and we can't wait to hear what they come up with next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
