The Little Black Dress have released their second album which they decided to make a self titled one. This album shows the band in a poppy indie rock sound that we aren't quite sure if it works or not. The band would appeal to you if you are into stuff like Arkells maybe with a little more upbeat to it. When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has a decent sound to it but the instrumentation seems pretty average here sadly. Now onto the vocals and lyrics, the vocals are done very well here, he can certainly sing well. Looking at the lyrics, they seem to be pretty good as well and be meaningful with the story they want to tell. if you are looking for a single for this album, give the song "Call The Paparazzi" your attention because this is the best song on the album and it gives you the overall feel of what the album is like the best. The Little Black Dress have something here that could end up working for them if they put more effort into it, play more shows and just get out there more. Hopefully the band will progress with their sound as well. Pretty good job done on this album. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think of it.
