The Archives have released their album "Vol. 1" This album has the typical Archives sound with that perrty indie feel to the music. Their music does sound pretty good though and has a genuine quality to the music. When you look at the way the album was recorded, it has a decent sound and the instrumentation has been done pretty well also. The band can play and the lyrics seem to have some substance, plus the sincer can sing decently as well, so thats good. If you are looking for a certain song to listen to, a single, there isn't one, so since the album is pretty short, just press play on the first song and listen away. The Archives have done a pretty good job on these three songs and hopefully with a little progression and a few tweaks, they can step out of the crowd and really make something out of this. Give this album a listen and decide for yourself what you think of it.
