Purple Hill is a band that is on top of what the trends are in music right now. This band has a singer that seems to be quite enthusiastic and have a lot of quirkiness to the singing. When listening to the music, the singer really stands out on each song. Listening to the music you notice that it has an alright sound but nothing is very revolutionary here. Along with the music, the recording has been done fairly decently as well, but when you look at the lyrics, they seem kind of out there, so watch for that. There is not really one song that stands out over the others, they are all quite unique in their own way and all feel like they are singles as opposed to an album so just pick a song and listen. After everything, the band has done an alright job but they need to figure out their sound a bit more and make it one defined thing as opposed to being off in different directions, With some progression and tweaking, this band could make someone more out of all of this. Keep it up and listen to this album, then follow what they are up to if you liked it.
