Weston is a brand new band that essentially came out of nowhere to play some shows. Their spin on new hardcore music doesn't seem to be that far off from the norm that everyone is doing nowadays. These guys on their debut album "Misfortunes" do however put a little more of a heavier edge to it which could help them be a little more distinct in the crowded scene. This album has an alright recording to it, but there are a few touches here and there that could make this better. For the playing here, its pretty standard, nothing over the top, but they can play so that's pretty good. There is not really one song that stands above the others on this album, but listen to "Welcome To Azura" as it features the singer of Structures in it and gives you an idea of the album. These guys have done an alright album that's not bad to listen to and they have something here, if they want to go further and tweak it. Listen to this album and decide what you think of them.
