Look out, there is a mechanical attack about, coming for your speakers. These Vast Robot Armies are loud but have a groove like an 80's wave artist, they are catchy but dangerous, these guys will infect your speakers. This is their first attack. The band have done a good job on this album, they have a real indie sound, but soft vocals that almost sooth you into admission. Looking at the recording, the band has recorded decently here, it has just a little roughness you expect in an indie sound so thats good. This band seems to be able to play, nothing that will really wow you, but can do their thing, and the lyrics are a little out there, but thats okay. Now if you are looking for a song to listen to, there is not really one that stands out over the others so just basically pick and see if you like them. In the end, they have done an alright job with their debut album, nothing to wow you but just some good old softer soothing indie rock to put your mind at ease.
