Parkside have released their debut album "I Would Rather Be Asleep." This album makes the feel like the new style of pop - punk. The album has that fast but dirty and raw sound that is popular right now and it actually sounds pretty good for a debut. Now with the recording, Anton DeLost recorded this album, who also does Seaway's albums and on this one he made it sound great. Along with the playing and the lyrics, this rounds the whole album out nicely. Their song "Joyride" is probably the best one on the album, so give this one your attention first. This song will show you what the album sounds like as a whole and is pretty catchy. These guys have done a pretty decent job on these four songs that compile their debut alum. So give this album a listen and make up your mind about this new pop punk band.
