(We have had to use the itunes link here now as a company claiming to represent the label has told us to take the download down)

The Black maria have released their debut album titled "Lead us To Reason." This album shows the band in a more modern rock form, which is somewhat a different route for their label Victory Records to sign. When you first listen to this album, you get hit hard with their version of more modern rock and it is pretty easy to get into. This album has been recorded decently so it sounds good and the instrumentation is alright, nothing to be wowed with. These lyrics are pretty decent as well, the singer does know how to sing. Probably the best song to listen to on this album would be "Betrayal" as this song just has the melodic part you can get into and then hits harder, this mesh just works here. This song and "The Memento" are the two to really give the album a chance, plus they show off the rest of the album. Overall, this is a decent offering by the band as a first album and really gets you wanting to see what else they can do. Keep up on this band and listen to this album. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
