When Shotgun Rules dropped their debut EP, they brought out something different and new. With their blend of heavy indie rock/emo gave a new sound to the scene, that was imitated by many bands afterwards. These songs are what became the beginning building blocks to this great band. When you listen to these songs, you can definitely hear the sound and time of their era in music. They encapsulate everything you know and loved about the emo phase of rock music. This is an album and a band you need to listen, weather you like this kind of music or not, they had an impact on the scene. They have since called it quits (R.I.P.)
