Fortycentfix have released their debut album titled "Everything In Between". This album shows the band in a very punk way. These guys have decided that playing their music fast and sped up tempo, is the way to really push their music to people. They have a similar sound to that of bands like Belvedere, Guttermouth or A Wilhelm Scream, so if you like those bands, you could like this album. They have done a pretty good job.

When looking at the recording quality of this album, the album has been recorded to an alright level. We wish the songs were a little clear and louder but that usually has to do with the mix. Not a bad recording, we just wish is was a little clearer. The instrumentation on the album isn't bad either. This band can play, and they have a really solid sound here. Nice job.

Now onto the vocals and the lyrics, the vocals here seem to need a bit of work. They aren't bad, but they have a really flat and droned out sound to them. This is however their debut album, and as the band gets better, his singing should improve as well. You can hear what he is singing about, and can get the lyrics, so thats a positive. With the lyrics, the band goes for songs about relationships, growing up and changing, and more. We feel these lyrics are something people can relate to, and it seems to be what younger people are going through so it will appeal to them.

If you are looking for a single to this album, there isn't one, so just pick a song and give it a listen to get the feel of the album.

Fortycentfix have released their debut album. This shows off the style and sound the band is going for, and give them a base to pull from. By no means is this an amazing album, but you have to start somewhere, and these guys certainly have. We can't wait to see what the band comes up with next. Listen to this album to decide for yourself what you think about it. They have since called it quits. (R.I.P.)
